LATOYA SHANELL, CMP
Hey Lady! My name is Latoya Shanell and I am a lady boss who juggles being a wife and toddler mommy (and currently expecting) with owning multiple businesses, managing multiple brands and working full-time in event marketing for a global professional services firm.
I created L’ Shanell + Co, A Division of L' Shanell Enterprises, LLC, in 2008, Etsy shop, L’ Shanell Party Boutique, in 2015 and Etsy shop, Culture Boss, in 2020. I founded brands Event Pros Unplugged in 2015, I Am Chicago Fashion in 2017 and Lady Boss Round Table in 2018. My journey has been exciting, frustrating, exhilarating, exhausting, inspiring and everything in between. I’ve definitely felt alone in my business and I know I’m not the only one. I discovered that being surrounded by a community of small business owners who truly understand the ups and downs of entrepreneurship is the key to truly reaching a new level of success. It gives me joy to pass along a new resource or tool that can bring fellow entrepreneurs success.

Once the 10-minute round begins, you will introduce yourself, your why and your business. A few questions and answers back and forth can quickly clarify if there is any potential for a follow-up phone call or meeting. At the halfway point, the conversation switches to the second person, who introduces themselves. You will make two connections.
ROUND TABLE DISCUSSIONS
During this working session, you'll determine your goals for the quarter and the specific action steps you will take to achieve them. Latoya will share her Purpose-Driven Goal Planning framework to help you develop clear and intentional goals. You will also be able to get feedback from your group regarding any ideas, goals and action steps you plan to take.
